Description Technical Specs   NOTE: People have been confusing Revision 9 (VR9) tubes from 1970s incorrectly to be from 1960s (e.g. VR9 RTC Label Heerlen Holland). Both 1960s and 1970s E188CC Heerlen Holland tubes had Large Halo Getter as these tubes do. Late 1960s tubes should be VR5-VR6 etc. Brand Spanking New, MINT NOS NIB 1977-78 Amperex/Philips E188CC 7308 Gold Pin Tubes Mullard Label. These are more desirable than the American made Amperex 7308 tubes. Rated for 10,000 hours. All tubes have Etched Date and Batch Code from Amperex/Philips Heerlen Holland plant: VR9 47xx or 48xx(4 = delta or left triangle for Amperex/Philips Heerlen plant). Heerlen plant tubes were sold with different labels like Amperex, Miniwatt, Philips, Bugle Boy and also relabeled by various Philips associates or companies owned by Philips like Valvo, Mullard, La Radiotechnique RTC, Siemens, Adzam etc. American companies often sourced and relabeled tubes from the European companies. Etched date codes tells the origin of the tube. Tested and matched on Top of the Line Calibrated Hickok 580 Lab Grade Tester. New E188CC tests in the 10,500 - 11000 mmhos range.
