NOTE: Made with Mullard Tooling by Matsushita in Japan, these E88CC/6922 tubes are far better than current production E88CC/6922 and a lot of Mid Tier NOS tubes. BEST BUY.

Brand New in Box, Matsushita Japan 6922 E88CC tubes. Mullard Tooling. National label and box.

1. Some tubes have light brown tinge on the glass. It is normal. These came as such in 1000 piece lot of factory sealed 100/pc boxes. Pairs are matched for test scores and NOT cosmetics.

2. Labels are fragile as expected of tubes from that era. Boxes are brittle and we have re-inforced these with clear tape.

Tested and closely matched on Top of the Line Calibrated Hickok 580 Lab Grade Tester. Average brand new E88CC/6922 tests between 10500 and 11500 mmhos on this tester from our testing data.

Price = $40 per tube. Select 2 for a Matched Pair, 4 for a Matched Quad. Any odd number of tubes will also be matched.

Rolled these into a Schiit Lyr. For those of you looking for the prized Lorenz tubes and having no luck, check these out. I have the Lorenz, among other good tubes. These are a close second behind the Lorenz. They are less forward while still presenting good vocal. Bass extension and punch is notable as well, though not quite as immersive as the Lorenz in the Lyr.

These tubes out of the box were a great improvement over JJ6922 gold tips. They are far more engaging better imaging and more realistic sounding tubes. Great value.

i am very pleased with the performance of these tubes along with my sonic frontiers sfl-2 pre amp. sound is three dimensional. very,very good imaging and midrange. the soundstage and detailness and clarity also improved. i recommend these tubes.

These tubes are wonderful. They are musical without being syrupy. They have detail and openness. The bass frequencies are reproduced well, and voices have nice timbre. At this price I think it would be hard to find anything comparable. I am very pleased!
