Tubes
are from May 1977 production, even though the generic printed date on
the certificate is 1976. With Tungsram Industrial tubes, it is common
to find differences in the date code on the tubes, and the generic year
when the paper certs were printed.
Brand New, MINT NOS NIB Rare MAY 1977 production Tungsram Industrial Grade ECC82 12AU7 Tubes. Each tube has individual RED Serial Number and Serialized Certificate. Made in Hungary. All tubes from the same batch. Flashing pattern can vary between tubes. It is normal.
Industrial grade tubes were subject to rigorous test and burn in process. These tubes were produced in limited quantities (between 5000-10000 tubes according to Zeitmann from Hungary). Tungsram ECC82 tubes are well liked by many Audiophiles.
Tested and matched on Top of the Line Calibrated Hickok 580 Lab Grade Tester. 65% = 1400 mmhos on this tester for ECC82/12AU7. These tubes test 10-30% higher than typical 12AU7/ECC82 tubes.
