Why these are rare is that we have never seen Telefunken EF806S with Military qualifications (plenty of Regular Telefunken EF86 have that qualification). Even back then this tube was way to expensive for Military to use, many times more than EF86. This must be an odd case where maybe they needed some for microphones for Military Radio Broadcasters.
