Brand new, Matched Pairs MINT NOS 1960s Original TESLA EL84 Round Ribbed Plate Tubes. No label OEM Rožnov production from former Czechoslovakia. A variant of the Tesla Round Smooth Plate (copy of Telefunken EL84). Repacked in generic white boxes from bulk. Tubes have no markings. These were produced as OEM product for other companies and military. Siemens, Telefunken, Valvo and many others relabeled Tesla tubes in late 70s - 80s. Excellent tube for Guitar and Audio applications.
- Getter pattern and size can vary between tubes even from the same batch of 100 lots.
- Tubes may have amber colored stray flashing on the glass. It is normal.
- Some tubes may have lopsided getter if the getter ring is inclined versus horizontal.
There are 3 variations in the construction. Tubes with U shaped fins versus II (parallel fins) and regular versus thicker getter ring. Pairs/Quads will be matched according to these variations.Tested on Hickok 6000A Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tester or on Top of the Line Calibrated
Hickok 580 Lab Grade Tester recently calibrated by late Chris Haedt. Minimum 65% = 7000 mmhos for EL84 on Hickok 580.
