PCC88/7DJ8
is pin compatible with 6DJ8/ECC88 except that it has 7V heater. Consult
your amp/gear maker before trying these or post a question on Tubes
Asylum. Flashing pattern can vary slightly from tube to tube within the same production batch. It is normal. We do have to
pass almost all bulk boxed tubes through pin straightener, and you will
see minor marks on the pins. Tube pins are malleable and bend easily
with lateral movement in the bulk boxes.

More desirable than the later production PCC88 with 37 Factory Code Trinec production. Made in former Czechoslovakia (now Czech Republic). Packaged in generic white boxes from bulk box.

Construction Notes: There is a minor variation in the construction EVEN within the same production batch (Steel Pins v/s Rhodium Pins, Fat Getter Ring v/s Thin Getter Ring, Big Font Label v/s Regular Label - See larger photo). We have found no difference in performance in any of these variations. Pairs will be matched accordingly.Tesla tubes were relabeled and sold by

tubes were no longer available.
