Personally handpicked by one of our associates, a native of Suzhou*, an area famous for freshwater pearls. And she is personal friends with the manufacturer.

Grade = AAA
Color = Pink with little purple shade (lavender)

*few months ago, she brought a couple of these back from a business trip.We took these around to several Pearl wholesalers and retail shops in the US. And we got the same exact response from all - that our necklaces were worth less than the lower quality necklaces that they would show us. This lead us to conclude that we have a good value to offer to our customers.

Only a small fraction of the freshwater pearls harvested make the top grade. Most low or mid grade necklaces get sold for far less (you can even find some selling for $20 on ebay). Pearls are graded on Size, Shape and the Luster etc. There is no unified and accurate standard to grade pearls. We are listing the grading as given by the source manufacturer.
