Sorry, the price is high because these early Ei ECC83 tubes are getting scarce and pricey. These 1970s Pre-war Ei tubes are much better than the late production Ei tubes. Ei produced valves with transfer of technology from Philips Holland and AEG/Telefunken.

Construction is very similar to Telefunken Smooth Plate ECC83. Desirable tubes for Guitar tone and Audio gear. LABELS ARE SLANTED ON SOME OF THE TUBES AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURE.

Tested and matched on Top of the Line Calibrated Hickok 580 Lab Grade Tester recently calibrated by late Chris Haedt. 65%=1000 mmhos for 12AX7/ECC83 on this tester.
