Sorry, the price is high because these early Ei ECC83 tubes are getting scarce and pricey. These 1970s Pre-war Ei tubes are much better than the late production Ei tubes. Ei produced valves with transfer of technology from Philips Holland and AEG/Telefunken.

From the same lot of Item 1049 - these tubes test quite high except the two triodes are not tightly matched. Not an issue in a lot of applications.

Tested and matched on Top of the Line Calibrated Hickok 580 Lab Grade Tester recently calibrated by late Chris Haedt. 65%=1000 mmhos for 12AX7/ECC83 on this tester.
